Hi, I'm Thomas, but call me TK...
WHERE I COME FROM
WHERE I COME FROM
Thank you for visiting my site! My wife Jenny and I have been residents of St. Anthony Village since January 1, 2001. We've raised our two adult children and our 9 year old son here. We love our town and we value the tremendous opportunity the community enables, which is why I decided to run for St. Anthony City Council.
Jenny has been a Special Education teacher in the St. Anthony/New Brighton School District for 14 years. For 20 years, I have been actively involved within the St. Anthony community, serving on the St. Anthony Planning Commission, St. Anthony Athletics & Activities Advisory Committee and St. Anthony Parks and Environmental Commission. I'm also involved in youth sports as a coach and program leader as President of St. Anthony Sports Boosters and President of St. Anthony Boosters Youth Basketball Association. I also serve or have served as a Coach or board member of Minnesota Youth Athletic Services (MYAS), Irondale Basketball Association, Mounds View Basketball Association and Roseville Youth Basketball Association
WHAT I VALUE. WHAT I SUPPORT.
I value leadership through teamwork and working in a non-partisan way. We can accomplish more by putting our personal and political agendas and differences aside to do what's right and in the best interest of St. Anthony and our residents. Our diverse backgrounds, thoughts, economics and beliefs is what has, and what will continue, to make St. Anthony a strong community.
I support the St. Anthony Police and Fire - the men and women that place their lives on the line every day to keep our St. Anthony residents, their homes and businesses, safe. We need to provide our law enforcement personnel with the tools, training, and the policies that enable them to do their jobs effectively.
I support the growth of affordable housing and an economically diverse community that enhances all of St. Anthony, through a thoughtful transparent process. I value my learnings as a member of the St. Anthony Planning Commission and the unique challenges and opportunities, that we face as a first ring, land locked community related to housing, development, and infrastructure.
I support our current and future efforts as a city in the areas of Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship
Equality Meets Opportunity
My Mission is to build a stable, strong and diverse community through pragmatic, thoughtful, and non-partisan leadership for St. Anthony Village by listening, doing, and learning.
